So, it is a new week, the Internet, and not much is going on. I'm still writing my next novel. I'm still clearing out my shirt inventory. I'm still spending too much time piddling around the internet.

THE FOLLOWING IS KIND OF SHAMELESS BUT I'M POOR AND WAS RAISED IN A CAPITALIST SOCIETY WHICH MAKES ME CRAVE NEW MATERIAL GOODS ALL THE TIME: An interesting thing happened to me on Friday: I had signed up for this website that gives free Xbox360 games in return for signing up for things, and they actually sent me my copy of Guitar Hero II w/ guitar. Needless to say, my hand hurts now. I wouldn't normally do something like that (the whole profitability of the idea just doesn't make sense, so why should they fulfill orders?), but I read on a certain forum I frequent that it worked and that there were a few offers that were really cheap and easy to cancel, plus I've been wanting to try out stamps.com and gamefly, which are both on there. I ended up clearing GHII, which is $90, for about $5 total by signing up for Get Rich with Google and one other one that I can't remember. Anyway, if you want a nearly free 360 game it's there for the taking, and you'd be helping me get a second guitar (they also credit you for referrals, which is why this is so shameless) so I can rock out with my long-dreamed-of husband/wife cover band, Bombs Away. If not, hey, that's cool, we're still friends. It's just not often that I can use my public forum for evil like this. Also I am petty and small.
